headed on to the arcade at white sands after breakfast .

and we decided to shoot a few zombies .


somehow i think this shot is priceless . giggles .

and following that , after a long bus ride to amk hub ,
we watched
feel kinda bad pulling the ladies in
to watch this movie , under the assumption that
they arent as action-and-thrill fetish as me .

plot was slightly hard to catch on ,
but overall , this movie is entertaining ,
though slightly disappointing .
im hoping for a sequel .

anyhow , Vin Diesel , as always ,
delivered his finesse in handling such genre of movies .

it is indeed his best . (though not his best performance)
hes still my idol :D

This picture of the Jupiter region of the sky tonight show's the gas giant's natural satellite system , along with the stars in the 1.72 degrees field of view region of the sky . here , enlarged at the bottom right of the picture , you can see Jupiter's largest 3 moons
(Ganymede , Io , Europa) .
This satellite system is similar to our planet Earth's one , just that we only have a single satellite , the Galilean Moon of ours .
Attached to the top left hand side of the picture , is an image of the exact similar portion of the sky region taken of Jupiter at approximately the same time .
One can see that the moon's of Jupiter had changed its positions as it rotates around its mother planet .
You can spot Jupiter on your own now in this season , as it hangs high up in they sky at night , and it is probably the brightest non-blinking star you can spot in the dark night sky .

BLOG REVIVED .

BLOG OFFICIALLY REVIVED .
ive been trying to lemonade some time out of no time ,
and finally managed to squeeze some out .

though i do have some reasons for doing so ,
such as using this blog as a primary site
to publish my astronomy and sky photos .

i'll say , i'll try to post ONE pic a day .
at least to start me off .
bring in some viewership .
AND most importantly ,
keep me motivated to
1)take more shots .
2)BE ACTIVE ON MY BLOG

this spectacular image of the waxing gibbous Moon taken on a lonely yet clear morning reveals detailed features of the moon on a moderate scale . on the bottom left of the Moon , the Crater Tycho is probably the most identifiable feature on the moon . Tycho is (relatively) young , at an estimated approximate of 108million years old . Tycho is 85km wide , 4.5km deep , and is probably created due to a huge meteorite or comet's impact onto the atmosphere-less Moon .
this image has been digitally enhanced to show the contrasts of moon's surface .

exams are over , and coming .
im currently in the "bridging" period after the prelims and
before gearing up full for the A's .
too hyped due to the end of the exams , and too complacent to prepare for th next one .

well in no time , i do believe most of us will start going on fourth gear .

going out late in the night for imaging , sweating my butt out ,
getting checked by the police sometimes for wielding a large swinging
machinery capable of magnifying the moon 750 times , losing a few screws here and there ,
have turned out to a mixed of emotions .

it IS stress relief , very .
and i've met many nice people doing so , such as a lawyer who had a childhood astronomy passion but was unable to pursue it . and (yes including the curious police mans) .

even passersby who glanced at me with those curious eyes , staring into the space and checkin out what im looking at is interesting .

but yeah , i cant go out much now anymore due to the exams .
but ive got SO much i wanna do with the scope and of course , many others .
such as buying a electric guitar , going on a well-deserved holiday etcetra .

gotta get going , headache is grinding me .
